BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Lucien C. Alexandre, MD PhD, is a triple board-certified interventional pain doctor and neurologist.

Dr. Alexandre studied neural science at New York University, where he was a research fellow in the Howard Hughes Research program. He then earned both a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) and a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) as well as a Master’s degree (MS) in Neuroscience from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He later completed his neurology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and his fellowship training in pain medicine at the Harvard University Medical School Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston with additional training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston’s Children’s hospital. He is triple board certified in interventional pain medicine, interventional headache and neurology.

With vast academic experience, real-world training, and a professional portfolio at some of the world’s most prestigious medical institutions, Dr. Alexandre is recognized as one of the premiere experts in the field with a reputation for being a meticulous interventional pain medicine doctor with in-depth understanding of the brain, nerves and pain, which he combines with his passion for disorders of the nervous system and methods for pain management.

He has experience treating thousands of patients and has never shied away from difficult or tough to treat pain conditions and offers an interdisciplinary approach to helping patients get back to living a fuller life. He is based in Broward, FL, and is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Creole.
