You are able to make BASIC text changes to your site. However, there are a few cautionary words.
One thing that you should understand is that when you edit, it is in a "live edit atmosphere." The changes you make will show up, be they good or bad, and immediately translate to your online site.
There are some areas of your site, that if you are unfamiliar with the CMS, it would be difficult to make changes. There are also some sections of the site that you might not be able to access. If you have changes that are included in any of these areas or you need to add extra pages or functionality to your site please let us know! We will be happy to do it for you! That's what we're here for!
With that said, below are the directions to make basic edits to your site.
You should see a User Menu with the options to Submit a WebLink or Submit Article.
To Submit Content
1. Click "Submit Article"
2. You will be redirected to an editor that is much like a Word document editor.
3. *Important* Be sure you select the proper category that you want your article to appear in. For your site, only the following categories are set up to show NEW information.
4. Click "Save"
How to Make Basic Text Edits to Content Already on the Site
1. Navigate to the page you want to edit.
2. Click the paper/pen icon (
)
3. Edit the document and click save.
If you see the pen/paper icon that is blue (
) - these are articles that have been unpublished and are NOT VISIBLE on your actual site. These articles are usually old articles or copies of articles that were made during your site's build to figure out the best layout.
To Submit a WebLink
1. Click "Submit a WebLink"
2. Fill out the form given you with the pertinent information
3. Click "Save"
4. You should now see your new link on your links page. If you don't, please refresh your page. If you still encounter problems, please contact us.
*Important* Be sure to logout when you are finished.
